Madagascar holds some of the richest endowments in the Indian Ocean in minerals, agriculture and fisheries, and the needs in infrastructure and housing of a fast-growing population. The Oman-Madagascar Sovereign Fund brings long-term Omani capital to those opportunities within a single bilateral framework, investing in mining, agribusiness, energy, fisheries and urban development through programmes agreed between the two governments and carried out with Omani sovereign and private partners.
Carousel Finance Africa has been engaged to structure the fund: its governance, its sector programmes and the arrangements through which Omani capital is invested in Madagascar.
