The working session took place under the high patronage of H.E. Emile NGOY KASONGO, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo in France, with the participation of Jafar Hilali and Marius Esposito for Carousel Finance AG, our firm mandated to structure the financing and mobilize international partners for this transformative initiative.
Thierry Katembwe Mbala, the Main Coordinator of the Kia Mona project (Projet d’Extension de la Ville de Kinshasa « CSSPEVK »), plays a central role in guiding this ambitious national undertaking, which aims to build a smart, modern, and sustainable city for more than 5 million inhabitants.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Dassault Systèmes teams for their warm welcome and strategic engagement. This meeting marked a major milestone in exploring how virtual twin technologies can support the planning, simulation, and long-term management of the new city of Kinshasa.
The integration of a digital twin is a key innovation driver for the project, ensuring coherence across urban design, infrastructure deployment, mobility systems, and environmental impact.
We look forward to advancing this strategic collaboration with Dassault Systèmes in support of the DRC’s long-term vision for Kinshasa.
