Paris meeting advances key partnerships for Kia Kinshasa Mona project

A strategic meeting was recently held in Paris to advance the Kia Kinshasa Mona project, a major urban expansion initiative led by the Strategic Oversight Committee for the Kinshasa City Expansion Project (CSSPEVK) and financially structured by Carousel Finance. Organized at the initiative of Jafar Hilali, President of Carousel Finance, the meeting brought together His Excellency Émile Ngoy Kasongo, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to FranceThierry Katembwe Mbala, Principal Coordinator of the CSSPEVK, and Marius Esposito, representative of Carousel Finance. This working session marked a significant step in defining the next phases of the project and structuring strategic partnerships that will play a decisive role in its execution.

In the coming weeks, a high-level business breakfast will take place in partnership with the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo in France, where leading French companies, investors, and key institutional figures will be invited to engage with the project. This event, organized by Carousel Finance as part of the broader strategy to mobilize international stakeholders, will serve as a key moment to showcase investment opportunities and secure the participation of strategic partners. The discussions will focus on integrating private sector expertise into the implementation of the new city’s infrastructure, energy, and industrial components, ensuring that the project attracts world-class technical know-how while reinforcing its financial foundation.

Paris is an essential milestone in the preparation for the London Economic Forum, where international investors, sovereign wealth funds, and major corporate players will converge to finalize commitments and accelerate the deployment of resources dedicated to this ambitious initiative. The ultimate goal is to finalize the necessary agreements and launch the first phases of construction, transforming Kia Kinshasa Mona into a landmark of modern urban development in Africa.
