The CSSPEVK, represented by Mr. Patrick Umba, Chief of Staff to the Principal Coordinator, held today in Kinshasa a series of high-level meetings alongside Carousel Finance, as part of the international outreach strategy for the Kinshasa New City – Kia Mona project.
Together, we met with H.E. Ingo Herbert, Ambassador of Germany, and Ms. Samira Cizero, Chargée d’Affaires of Switzerland, for discussions focused on industrial cooperation, sustainable infrastructure, and long-term strategic engagement.
H.E. Anwar Othman Barout Al Baroudi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, emphasized the UAE’s strategic interest in contributing technical solutions to the project and expressed a strong openness to structured financial cooperation in the long term.
Further working sessions were held with Ms. Ozge Seven, Head of Economic Affairs at the Turkish Embassy; Mr. Pierre Séjourné, Economic Counselor at the French Embassy; and Mr. John Harkness, Economic Counselor at the U.S. Embassy. All expressed clear interest in aligning their institutional networks with the project’s development roadmap.
These diplomatic engagements represent a key step in preparation for the upcoming international forums, and confirm the momentum of global interest in the project.

Le CSSPEVK, représenté par Monsieur Patrick Umba, Directeur de Cabinet du Coordinateur Principal, a tenu aujourd’hui à Kinshasa, aux côtés de Carousel Finance, une série de rencontres bilatérales de haut niveau dans le cadre de la stratégie internationale du projet Nouvelle Ville de Kinshasa – Kia Mona.
Nous avons eu l’honneur de rencontrer Son Excellence Ingo Herbert, Ambassadeur d’Allemagne, et Madame Samira Cizero, Chargée d’Affaires de la Suisse, pour des échanges consacrés à la coopération industrielle, aux infrastructures durables et à l’engagement stratégique à long terme.
Son Excellence Anwar Othman Barout Al Baroudi, Ambassadeur des Émirats Arabes Unis, a souligné l’intérêt stratégique des Émirats à contribuer par des solutions techniques au projet, tout en exprimant une ouverture forte à une coopération financière structurée dans la durée.
Des séances de travail complémentaires ont été organisées avec Madame Ozge Seven, Responsable des affaires économiques à l’ambassade de Turquie ; Monsieur Pierre Séjourné, Conseiller économique à l’ambassade de France ; et Monsieur John Harkness, Conseiller économique à l’ambassade des États-Unis. Tous ont exprimé leur volonté de renforcer les liens institutionnels avec le projet.
Ces rencontres diplomatiques marquent une étape importante en amont des forums internationaux à venir, et confirment l’intérêt croissant des partenaires internationaux pour ce projet stratégique.
